Cheaper, compact, light weight.I took a star off because you need a lens station to upgrade the lens firmware.

Ordered, "used - like new", and it was covered in dust. I returned it because it had an unacceptable amount of dust inside the lens. So, I can't imagine it would be hard to get dust in it even if it was new. Image sharpness was almost too much at 24mp. Loved the size. Struggling to decide between ordering this again for the convenience, but for 50-100 i can get the less compact f1.8.

The lens build quality feels really cheap and light, but for the size it delivers impressive results. The auto focus is not the best, but it's more than adequate, and when it locks focus the image quality is really sharp. There is some vignetting in the corners, but for the price this is a great lens to have for those times when the bulk and weight of a typical full-size E-Mount lens is just too much.

Really enjoying this lens. It's so tiny and great for travel. It's not QUITE as sharp as my others 35mm but for the money it seems worth it so far. I really like it.

I have a Rokinon lens station to update the software n this lens. After attempting a software update with the lens station, the lens no longer focused. Can’t tell if the problem was with the lens station or lens, but had to return it since it did not work anymore.
