I wanted a fisheye/ultra wide lens for my Panasonic G6 and having looked at offering from Olympus, Panasonic and Kowa this looked a great option in terms of price. The lens is pretty well built, has a grippy manual focus ring and manual aperture ring. The lens hood is fixed and there is no option to put filters on the front. It does take some getting used to for the following reasons; it is manual focus only (but you can use focus peaking to help guide you), there is no electrical contact for exposure so you have to shoot in the camera's manual mode really and go off the exposure meter, not the histogram, to get a correct exposure; because the angle of view is so wide you can be prone to getting unwanted items in the image-like you own feet! The image quality is very good though so far and you can have alot of fun with it if you use your imagination.

Monté sur un Lumix G7. Bon produit, l'image est bonne pour ce type d'objectif. Pas de soucis constaté. Parfaitement adapté au monture Micro4/3 : l'objectif s'installe sans forcer. Certes la mise au point est manuelle, mais à cette focale cela ne pose pas de soucis.

Very sharp lens. Nice solid metal construction. Depth of field is so great that used at f5.6 there's barely any need to focus. The focusing ring has a short throw but is heavily damped and so won't move by accident. Used carefully (straight horizon) it can effectively be used as an extreme wide-angle with little de-fishing. Surprisingly versatile beyond the creative fish-eye effect.
