The Rokinon 300mm F6.3 UMC CS Lens is a mirror lens designed specifically for use on mirrorless cameras. The lens' Cassegrain design enables it to achieve a 450mm 35mm-equivalent focal length perspective within a compact and lightweight lens design that is significantly smaller than a traditional 300mm lens. It features a fixed f/6.3 aperture and utilizes manual focus operation for focusing as closely as 2.95'.

One extra-low dispersion element and the inherent mirror construction of the lens work to eliminate chromatic aberrations while providing notable image sharpness and clarity. Furthermore, the UMC (Ultra Multi Coated) coating has been applied to reduce surface reflections, lens flare, and ghosting while also contributing to improved overall contrast.

  • Mirror lens designed specifically for mirrorless cameras.
  • Catadioptric system with Cassegrain design helps to reduce the overall size of the lens while still providing a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 450mm.
  • One extra-low dispersion element and a UMC coating are integrated into the lens construction to improve sharpness and clarity as well as enhance the overall image contrast.

Wrong lens for my Full Frame Sony camera

This is an APS C lens. I was under the impression it is a full frame lens for Sony E mount. Can it be replaced by a full frame lens if I return the lens?

    Very nice product.

This is the second Rokinon lens I’ve bought. I previously purchased the 8mm fisheye about 8 years ago and it’s been a great lens. So I didn’t think twice about this 300mm from them. The build quality is excellent, the image quality is as good or better than I was expecting from a reflective lens like this. I’ve been able to hand shoot clear shots but having a tripod or something else to stabilize definitely helps.Close focusing can be difficult as the depth of field is very shallow, but for longer shots beyond 50yds (meters) it’s much easier. And I often use it focused to infinity. The notorious donut bokeh is there particularly when the subject is backlit and close focused. It’s totally manageable though in some cases it’s nice and in others it’s annoying but you just have to live with it.The size of the lens is smaller than I expected which is nice as it very unsuspecting making it good for street photography. And much easier to keep in the bag at all times as opposed to my 300mm f2.8 telephoto.Overall I highly recommend this lens and Rokinon as a manufacturer. If I have time in the next few days I’ll try to upload some sample shots

    Lives up to the promise

This is the 3rd mirror lens I’ve owned and by far the best. The others were cheaper but produced mostly unusable images. This one is also the smallest and lightest. If used carefully with the right camera settings it can genuinely replace a much larger and more expensive telephoto lens. (All 3 images shot handheld with a Canon M200).

This is good if you know why you need it. Excellent quality for the money.

I need help getting an adapter

I bought this back in November and only just now tried it out and realized it doesn't fit my Canon Rebel T3i. Anyone have a lead on an adapter to get it to fit my camera? I'm just using it in Manual mode. I'll take any help I can get. (lens mount type to Canon EOS Rebel T3i mount nomenclature, etc) Thanx!
