Combining a wide-angle perspective with a fast maximum aperture, the Rokinon Compact 21mm f/1.4 Lens designed for Canon M series cameras provides a full frame equivalent focal length of 33.6mm.

One Extra Low Dispersion combine with three Aspherical and elements to control chromatic and chromatic aberrations, as well as reduce color fringing, for sharper, clearer imagery. The fast and bright f/1.4 maximum aperture provides easy shooting in difficult lighting conditions and enables greater control for selective focus applications, which is further enhanced by the manual focus design and rounded nine-blade diaphragm to produce pleasing bokeh.

All lens elements utilize Ultra Multi-Coating to reduce lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color accuracy when working in harsh lighting conditions. The non-rotating 58mm front filter mount enables the use of polarizing, graduated ND, and other filter types that require precise positioning while its internal focus design maintains the overall length of the lens during use.

Interesting lens

If you enjoy manual lens, this is yet another good lens from Rokinon. Well built, with a plastic body that does not feel too "plasticky". Images are reasonably sharp and definitely sharp enough for my own taste. Pricing was very attractive.

One of the best options at this focal length for apsc

I’m quite impressed by the optical quality and the build quality overall. In terms of the optics and image quality, I can say that this is the best lens you can get in Fuji x mount at 21-23mm focal length. The Fuji 23 f1.4 based on what i have seen is softer wide open and potentially has more optical design flaws. Given that optical designs of the Fuji 23 and 35 f1.4 are so much older, and the auto focus motors make them completely useless for video, the options simply narrow down to the viltrox 23 1.4, Samyang/rokinon 21 1.4, or the Fuji 23 f2 for the 35mm equivalent focal length if you are even considering shooting videos occasionally. After some testing, the viltrox is quite soft around corners, and the chromatic aberration of all viltrox lenses are absolutely horrendous. Upon arrival, I’ve tested this much more affordable option, and to my surprise, the Samyang/Rokinon 21 1.4 is currently the sharpest and overall best optic that I’ve ever tested for in the native Fuji X mount. It has proven to be a fantastic value for money. I’ve also order the 35 1.4 which according to some reviewers has an even better optics. Some also said that the build quality of the lens can feel slight cheap and plasticy. I don’t feel that way at all. It’s no more that the slightly plasticy feel of say the Fuji xt30 or xs10 body if you are more used to the feeling of more high end mirror less cameras in your hand. But given the price point, this is simply phenomenal.

Got it at a very good price! SHARP!

Saw this lens at less than S$200 and hesitated if this is a lemon. Took the leap of faith and ordered.When i tried it on my Fuji X-t10.... SHARP!!!!!!There's no Singapore warranty... but as a manual lens.... i don't see much can go wrong.

Great walk around lens

Wonderful lens, sharp, easy manual focus on Sony E mount using aperture priority and focus tracking and a real joy to use. 32mm full frame equivalent provides a lot of flexibility in use.
