The Rokinon 24mm F1.4 ED AS IF UMC Lens gives you a substantial wide angle of view of 84° with full-frame Canon cameras. It can also be used with Canon APS-C cameras to provide a 57.6° angle of view basically equivalent to a 35mm lens on a full frame camera. It works well for landscapes, interiors, street photography and astrophotography.

It's 13 elements in 12 group design utilizes 4 Extra Low-Dispersion (ED) glass elements and 2 Aspherical elements to produce sharply defined images even in low lighting conditions. Focus can be as close as 9.84" for outstanding wide-angle close-up views.

Anti-reflection UMC coating (Ultra Multi Coating) enhances light transmission, increases contrast and reduces flare. The non-rotating 77mm filter mount allows easy use of polarizers and other rotating filter types while the silky-smooth and perfectly-damped long throw action of the focusing ring provides precise focus control.

Solid Build

I can rarely afford lenses so when it comes to picking one it’s a pretty big decision for me. Needless to say, this purchase was one of the best decisions I made for my camera. The lens itself feels very sturdy and durable. Also, the focus ring has a nice smooth feeling to it. When it comes to image quality, I have nothing to complain about. The only downside is that it is fully manual but in my opinion learning fully manual makes you better all round. Overall, this has proven to be one of my favorite lenses
